I am Dr. Brandi — integrative and functional nutritionist, certified olive oil sommelier, and the founder of Cesira. I have spent the past several years returning to the same groves in Chianti, season after season, until the trees became less like subjects and more like teachers.
If Trees Could Talk is what they taught me. It is the book I could not have written without the oil on my hands and the Autum light that kept arriving, patient and indifferent to my schedule, every year.
